How to Make Money on Twitter (with less than 1k followers)

You dont need to have 10K followers to make money on Twitter.

If you want to make real money on Twitter, here is all you need now.

1. Writing Content:

You MUST know these three things about writing content on Twitter.

Most of the content on Twitter is written, unlike on Instagram. Twitter is a writing platform, but it doesn’t mean you can’t use visuals. I will show you how you can use visuals to increase engagements and how you can get these ideas.

Here are the 3 most important techniques you need to know when it comes to writing on Twitter.

1. How to Write:

This is important because in communication less than 10% is about what you say and the remaining 90% is how you say it. This is the primary reason why storytelling and copywriting are the most essential marketing skills.

2. What to Write:

When it comes to What to Write, you need to understand your customer. If you don’t know what they want, it is impossible to write anything they need.

If you want to know what your customers want.

Here is a small hack you can use. Go to YouTube and search phrases related to your niche.

For example, if you are an Email Marketer; you may search, Email Marketing Tips.

And then go to the filters and get “this year” or “this month” to know what is trending.

Notice How they have written the hook.

Ask yourself what you will watch first (as you can see, I hooked to the third video there 😛) you can start watching it and learn how they have presented it.

You can use these titles as inspiration and you can start writing your content.

3. Deliver more than Your Customer wants

Always and always make sure your content delivers the most value you can give. This makes you a reputable figure.

You may have read nice hooks but once you read the content you understand that this person doesn’t deliver what he has mentioned in the title, will you follow him? or read his content again? I am sure you won’t. So, I don’t want this to happen to you. Make sure you deliver what you said in the title.

For example: If you say, here is how I make $10,000/month by Tweeting, this should not be just a guide on how to write engaging tweets, because people started reading to learn how you have made that $10,000/month by Tweeting.

Here are a few tactics you can use to deliver the most value:

– Use visuals

– Share free resources

– Make sure you understand every part of it

– Use examples to teach with real case studies.

2. Arranging Content

This is important as Writing, why? because how you present it matters.

Before you start writing content you should know what is your primary motive.

Your primary motive can be:

– To aware or teach

– To get more engagements

– To get more sales

If you are writing content to aware or teach you can write about something you did.

Here is a thread I wrote about How I got more than 150,000+ Impressions from one Tweet.

If you are writing for engagements, you can simply ask questions, this doesn’t have to be long.

Here is a question I tweet very recently and I got more than 170+ replies.

To get sales the best thing is writing long-form content, which is a good thread.

It doesn’t matter whether you pitch in the middle of the thread or at the end, as long as you do it at the right time.

Here is a Thread I wrote this week (July 14, 2022). I pitched it in the middle, where it makes sense, and more than 17 people downloaded my free book.

(At this moment I don’t have anything to sell in this space, but I could have inserted an affiliate link, but my main focus is on growing my email list so I did that)

3. Sell without Pitching

You may ask, how can I sell without pitching?

Well, it is not like that.

Let me explain.

Do you see people use links (it might be affiliate links or their course links) at the end of their threads?

Some people do this on every tweet they post, after some time you will see they attached a link to sell.

I used to do this, but I don’t find it helpful, so I stopped doing it on every tweet.

But if I get more than 50 likes I auto-plug my newsletter or Free Online Business Suite by using Tweet Hunter.

Here is a better way of selling, but for now I don’t have data to prove it. But some people do this.

So, I am at the beginning phase of this transformation.

But I wanted to highlight this because this is something I want to share with you in upcoming stories.
