8 Steps of Successful Digital Product Launch.
Step 1: Know Your Audience
Before you start planning your launch, you need to understand who your audience is.
Who are you creating this digital product for?
What are their pain points and how does your product solve them? Knowing your audience helps you tailor your launch strategy to their needs and preferences.
Step 2: Set a Launch Date
Setting a launch date may seem like the easiest step, but it’s not. You need to complete the whole process/plan to set the date.
You need to give yourself enough time to prepare, but also create a sense of urgency for your audience.
Once you have a launch date in mind, work backward from there to ensure you have enough time to complete all the necessary tasks.
Step 3: Create a Sales Page
Your sales page is the first thing people will see when they visit your website. It needs to be clear, concise, and convincing.
Use eye-catching graphics and testimonials from satisfied customers to boost your credibility.
Your sales page should highlight the benefits of your product and make it clear why someone should buy it.
If you are completely new to Sales Pages and Funnels, here is a thread from Logan. He goes in detail explaining how Jordan Belfort the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ created his funnel and landing page to sell.
Later I will create a in depth newsletter on how I create the landing page for the up coming product Skill Sell Suite.
Now you can join the waiting list.
Step 4: Create a Content Strategy
Your content strategy is how you’ll promote your upcoming digital product. At this stage, you know what you need to create.
With the help of tools like ChatGPT or Bing Chat, you can easily get a rough outline of your content.
Once you have 20-25 ideas, prioritize them and start creating content.
Make a content scheduler to ensure you’re posting consistently and using a tool like Notion to manage your content ideas and schedule.
Step 5: Offer a Pre-Launch Discount
Offering a pre-launch discount creates a sense of exclusivity and urgency for your early adopters.
You can do this for a specific group of people on your email list or create a waiting list for this.
Building a waiting list is easy with the right tools and can help you gauge interest in your product before it even launches.
(Later I will show you how you can build a Waiting list with ease).

Step 6: Social Media Promotion
Social media is a powerful tool for creating buzz for your launch.
Share behind-the-scenes glimpses of your product and keep your followers engaged with regular updates.
As a call to action, ask them to join your waiting list or sign up for your email list.
Step 7: Leverage Email Marketing
Building an email list is a must for any product launch. Use various email marketing strategies at different stages of creating your product.
While creating your product, build a waiting list.
Once you’ve completed the first draft, use pre-launch emails to collect testimonials.
On launch day, send a big offer email to your list.
After that, use a sales sequence to follow up with potential customers and close sales.

Step 8: Partner with Influencers
Partnering with influencers in your industry can help you build authority and reach a wider audience.
Find influencers in your industry and reach out to them well ahead of your launch. Show them your product and ask for feedback. If they like it, they may be willing to promote it to their followers.
Also, if you have a budget for promotion, you can find a lot of influencers to help you promote.
Pro Tip:
If you think of reaching out to big creators via Twitter DM, don’t use these lines when you send DMs: “Do you do paid promotions?” or “Do you do paid retweets”… Most probably, they will block you..
Why? That is against Twitter policy…
Instead, send a DM along with this line. “I have a business offer; this involves money; what is your best platform to continue this conversation?”
I hope this helps…
Remember, these 8 steps are not sequential. They are related and require enough time between now and launch.
Spending time networking and building relationships is just as important as creating a quality product.
Follow these steps, and you’ll be on your way to creating a successful launch strategy for your digital products.
That’s it for today…
Enjoy.
